1955: The beginning of a legacy
In 1955, Ángel Zapata began his journey in the world of jewelry. For more than three decades, he traveled throughout Spain and part of the world as a representative of prestigious jewelry and pearl firms, learning from the best artisans and selecting unique pieces that awakened emotions and told stories.
1981: The first boutique in Barcelona
With that passion and experience, in 1981, the Zapata couple opened the doors of the first Zapata Jewelers boutique at Calle Mandri, 20 in Barcelona. A space that brought together jewelry, watchmaking, and gift items, bringing each client carefully chosen pieces to accompany important moments in life.
Growth with family essence
With the incorporation of the second generation into the business, the Zapata family inaugurates a second boutique on Calle Buenos Aires, 60 (Diagonal). This space integrates our own jewelry workshop and watch technical service, offering our clients a specialized, close, and trustworthy service.
Subsequently, the family continues growing with the opening of a new boutique in the L'Illa Diagonal Shopping Center, allowing us to be closer to our clients at different points in the city.
Tradition and evolution
Today, Zapata Jewelers has three boutiques in Barcelona and an online store, making it easy for our clients to access our pieces from anywhere, always maintaining the same commitment to quality, trust, and closeness that has accompanied us since the beginning.
